Old West Costume Photography in Death Valley

My Mom is a talented seamstress, and last year she wowed us by making the girls’ Halloween costumes inspired by the Old West. My oldest daughter wanted to be a fancy stagecoach lady while my youngest preferred to be a classic gun-toting train robber. They both totally loved their Halloween costumes, and I thought they were so good that I packed them for our trip to Death Valley National Park a few months after Halloween. We stayed in a hotel that had the Borax Museum on its property which provided a convenient backdrop for a Halloween photography session. It felt like we were right there in the Wild West with the old buildings, horse wagons, and steam trains.
